Sussex Event tickets is a ticketing site run by High Gain Event Services, an established event production company based in Horsham, West Sussex. We are a social enterprise based in Horsham, West Sussex specialising in providing Event Management support and technical production for a wide range of events in Horsham, Crawley, East Grinstead and surrounding areas.
Our core business is providing packages including Staging, PA Systems, Airdome Cover, Marquees, Lighting and event management support to community festivals, fun days and events run by charities, local authorities and other community groups. We also provide support for a number of corporate contracts, bands and private events.
We don’t have shareholders, as a community interest company any profit we make is reinvested to benefit the community projects and organisations we work with. This also means we have wider objectives above our need as a business to be profitable.
We noticed that some local events were finding that large booking fees were being added by ticketing websites, whilst others had chosen to do ticketing in house creating a lot of extra work for organisers. We wanted to offer a fairer alternative for local events with a more modest fee that truly reflected the box office costs and could be backed up with local support.
Our website uses the established ‘ticket tailor’ ticketing platform to handle bookings with Credit/Debit card payments processed by Stripe, a market leader in website payments used by many of the larger platforms. This is backed up with local phone support from us if you have any issues with your order – you can simply call us on 01403 888005. We’ll also be on hand on site providing scanners and technical support at events.
Our service is available for local events in West Sussex. As an event organiser you receive the full value of the ticket, typically within 48 hours of the end of your event, however if you are an established business / charity we are usually able to provide access to funds on a 7 day rolling cycle subject to due diligence to ensure that customers can be refunded should the event not take place.
